In May 2022 we had the honor of producing a projection mapping in the garden of the Villa d’Este for the Concorso d ́Eleganza Villa d’Este, a gathering of historic classic cars. Commissioned by the event agency JOKE, we – alongside the Flying Bachs – were the highlight of the Saturday evening party at the exclusive event.

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the luxury hotel Villa d’Este on Lake Como, this extensive show was performed once. Following the show, a VJ remixed visual elements of our mapping at the party that lasted into the morning hours.

Within 10 weeks of production, five thematically different chapters were created, which dealt with the history of the Villa d’Este and the Concorso d’ Eleganza Villa d’Este. Together with the Flying Bachs, a choreography was specially developed for this purpose, to which we coordinated our animation precisely to the beat. The 10-minute projection show was supported by a lighting designer and extensive event technology.
