2D – DRAMATIC DIMENSIONS was created in the context of a cooperation between TanzKollektivBremen, Kunsthalle Bremen and URBANSCREEN.

In the performance developed by Magali Sander Fett, selected works of art from the exhibition “IKONEN – Was wir Menschen anbeten“ were projected onto the wall in the entrance area. The dancers of TanzKollektivBremen referred to this in their performance.

The dance with, in front of and within the artworks extended them by an additional spatial and temporal level. Dance theatre in a museal setting – a combination of two genres that turned museum visitors into theatre visitors and vice versa.

A further component was the sound experience developed especially for this performance. In this way, a whole bundle of sensory impressions and a very intensive examination of the exhibition was created.
